From One Home to the Next

For a long time our community gathered at the Autismo Café, a space that meant so much to so many families. Those memories will always be part of our story. Now our classes are continuing in a new space and this next chapter is just beginning.

An Update on My Classes and Community Offerings

Over the past few months my work has continued to evolve in ways that feel deeply aligned with my purpose. For those who are new here, my work centers around helping people reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and rediscover a sense of calm through movement, mindfulness, and energy healing.

While Elemental Wellness has always included yoga, meditation, and Reiki, one of the most meaningful parts of my work has become my Special Souls classes. These classes are designed for uniquely wired individuals who benefit from a supportive environment where movement, creativity, and relaxation come together.

A New Chapter

For a long time our classes were held at the Autismo Café, a space that meant a great deal to many of us. The memories, connections, and growth that happened there will always be cherished. I am incredibly grateful for the time we spent building community in that space.

As life often does, things change and new chapters begin. I’m excited to share that our classes have found a new home and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue growing in a beautiful new space.

Special Souls Classes in Monroe

I am currently privately hosting my Special Souls classes at Curves Gym in Monroe, NY, where we have created a welcoming space filled with mats, hammocks, and gentle lighting to help everyone feel comfortable and safe.

Each class blends movement, creativity, and nervous system regulation in a way that allows participants to explore their bodies and express themselves at their own pace.

Our current class schedule includes:

Special Souls Yoga – Mondays at 4:30 PM

A gentle yoga class focused on stretching, breathwork, and building body awareness while helping the nervous system settle into calm.

Music & Movement – Tuesdays at 4:30 PM

A fun, upbeat class that uses rhythm, music, and playful movement to encourage coordination, creativity, and joyful expression.

Once Upon a Stretch – Wednesdays at 3:30 PM

A story-based movement class where participants become part of the adventure through stretching, imagination, and personalized storytelling.

Every class ends with hammock relaxation, breathing exercises, and calming techniques that help participants reset and regulate their nervous systems.

OPWDD Approved Classes

These classes are also approved for OPWDD Self-Direction programs and many participants attend through Direct Pay services. Families currently utilize agencies such as Yedei, Hamaspik, AIM, and Advocates to support participation.

If you are enrolled in OPWDD Self-Direction, these classes may be eligible for reimbursement through your plan.

Continuing the Work of Healing and Community

Alongside these classes, I continue to offer workshops, retreats, meditation, Reiki, and healing experiences throughout the Hudson Valley. Much of this work is done in collaboration with my dear friend Wendy through her nonprofit The Infinite Heart Initiative, where we focus on supporting women navigating burnout as well as individuals who benefit from creative and sensory-friendly environments.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple mission:

to help people feel safe in their bodies, connected to themselves, and supported in a community that celebrates who they are.

If you would like to learn more about classes or see if they are a good fit, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to connect and help guide families toward the right support.
